Well folks...its official - the invites have gone out from Apple for the "official" iPad mini event, scheduled for October 23, 2012. With the catchy tag line of "We've got a a little more to show you." the invitations certainly won't blow anyone away with their creativity, but perhaps the product itself will do better. We are now that much closer to seeing the actual look, feel, and specs of this new device. There is still no official announcement of when the device will be sold, but some websites are reporting that it might even be as soon as October 24, the day after the event.
